I am a software engineer graduated from University of Oxford (MSc), I currently work as a hourly paid lecturer at a University and a part-time teacher at sixth form college teaching Maths and Computer Science. I don't believe in giving the answers, it does not help anybody. My approach is to explore the question/problem/topic. If a question can be explored from a different angle then the answer is always reachable. Learning shouldn't be just memorising facts, but really understanding a topic. The recent class that I taught for GCSE achieved 70% 3 levels of progress and over and 30% 2 levels of progress, beyond the national average.
