Personal Description:
After completing my O.U degree in Mathematics, gaining an Upper Second Class with Honours, I decided I wanted to teach Mathematics. I joined Tutor Doctor and gained experience tutoring before gaining a PGCE place.
Following my PGCE year I have taught in various schools and Colleges.
Teaching Experience:
I taught at Farnley Academy as a full time maths teacher for 1 term on a temporary contract, September to December 2014.
Various schools and Colleges and Leeds Beckett University as a supply teacher through Randstad Recruiting Agency
Wakefield College full time, September 2015 to June 2016 ,GCSE Maths
Tutoring Approach:
I am passionate about mathematics and teaching others.
All of my teaching experiences have instilled in me an appreciation of the importance of building good relationships with those I am teaching, ensuring they are enjoying their learning experience and adapting my teaching methods to suit their needs.
