• Over a decade of teaching experience in teaching and working with many London schools, including grammar and private schools
• Helped thousands of students achieve their true potential to be successful
• More than 90% of all my students went to Russel group universities (Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial etc.)
• Most of my past students have achieved their qualifications from prestigious universities and worked for the top companies in the world.
• I have past students who are running successful businesses in the field of finance, accounting, medicine and research.
• I was lucky enough to be mentored by some of the best teachers from a relatively young age which helped me to train teachers and trainee teachers to be exceptional in their fields.
• I was branded "Super Tutor" by many tutoring agencies in London and the Middle east.
• I have been working with many highly privileged students from the Middle East, Asia and Russia.
• I have extensively worked with many finest tutoring agencies in London.
• I run intensive revision sessions for students in the summer to boost their performance.
Tutoring Approach:
• I believe every student is unique, including their way of learning. My success as a great teacher is because of my teaching adaptation to match students' needs and learning styles.
• I always held high expectations of my student, and I firmly believe everyone has the potential to achieve greatness, irrespective of their current state.
• I believe in each student's capacity and what they can achieve. I have always seen my past and present students break their barriers of limitations and achieve great results.
• I teach students to the optimum zone where a task is not too easy or not too hard but just right. This approach would keep the task interesting for students and is one of the critical components in my teaching success.
• I always establish mutual respect as it brings out the best in the students in my classes.
• I break down the complex ideas in science and maths into simple, manageable chunks of information, which the student later recombines to form the original complex concepts.
• During my lessons, I facilitate students to think and use logic to understand the concepts by nudging their thinking in the right direction. This caused the student to take the learning into their hand and avoid rote learning.
• I focus more on accuracy and speed during exam time by giving them exam techniques and tips. This method would boost their confidence and brings results.
• Due to my extensive experience with subjects, concepts, and exam boards, I know where students struggle the most and what mistakes they can make. This expertise allows me to address them while I teach, eliminating the chance of them occurring in the first place.
• I also monitor students regularly and give feedback to the parent/guardian in due time.

Personal Description:
I first began to take interest in education in late 2016 during my second year of studies at Falmouth University, after undertaking 'skills for music leaders' module, where I studied different approaches to formal and non-formal music education. In September 2017, I have taken my ambitions to teach guitar further and fully dedicated my third year of studies to learn about ethics in music education, and began work experience with Cornwall Music Service Trust. I have shadowed 3 guitar teachers as well as 1 violin teacher and learned how to work with children aged between 6-16. I have actively engaged during the lessons, and helped as much as it was possible. I observed their teaching style and studied how to apply it into my own practice, gaining very good references
Teaching Experience:
I have completed 'skills for music leaders' during my second year studies and dedicated the rest of my time researching ethics and practical teaching strategies in music education. I have completed a year of work experience with Cornwall music service trust shadowing their teachers and learning their teaching styles. I am currently doing more work experience at Penair School learning about classroom teaching. Soon I will be looking to apply for Teacher training
Tutoring Approach:
I structure my lessons to each student individually

Personal Description:
I am currently about to enter the 3rd year of my MPhys course at Durham University.
I have a passion for my degree and I think that the joy of physical science problem solving is one that can be easily lost in a school environment. With a more tailored approach to teaching, I hope to be able to give students a better understanding of how the tools that they learn work, which enables them to approach exams and further levels with more confidence, whilst also making the subject more enjoyable.
Teaching Experience:
I have experience tutoring for GCSE as an academic mentor at school with both maths and physics. I have also helped lower-level undergraduates with topics of concern.
Although I don't have lots of formal teaching experience, I love to help people understand new topics and have abundant energy to inspire students.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that the subjects that I am looking to tutor are genuinely enjoyable if they are presented in the proper way and students are able to explore where their curiosity takes them. Which provides enjoyment and a great sense of achievement
For older students, however, I do not want to undermine the importance of being properly prepared for public examinations. The beauty of maths and physics is that the amount of rote learning is much less than other subjects and practice problem solving and understanding concepts is the key to success, this provides much more engaging revision. Although if you are struggling with teaching yourself a new topic or just didn't find that you 'got it' in class, it can be incredibly demoralising. This is where a second explanation or some targeted understanding can help out. moreover, with regular meetings, we can increase the efficiency of your study and I can teach you some tips on self-assessment and identifying in what manner you can help yourself, which is a vital skill the higher up the educational ladder you climb.
For younger students, my approach is to build a strong foundation of the basic skills whilst exploring more intricate concepts in a guided but ambitious manner. I believe that many students are capable of going far beyond the scope of their syllabuses, with the right guidance and encouragement.

Personal Description:
Lessons will take place in Twickenham in a bright and airy room with a café area for parents to wait comfortably, right in the heart of Twickenham with parking nearby.
I am a dedicated primary maths and English tutor who believes every child can succeed. I create a calm, supportive, and joyful learning environment, making lessons fun, creative, and engaging while building strong foundations, boosting confidence, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
Teaching Experience:
My journey in education began overseas, teaching English to children and young adults in Thailand and New Zealand. That experience inspired me to train as a primary teacher, combining my love of working with children with my passion for helping them grow into confident, capable learners. Since then, I've taught in both state and independent primary schools across New Zealand and London, led the maths department at a leading London prep school, and taken on leadership roles that have deepened my understanding of how children learn best.
For me, great teaching is about more than just covering the curriculum. It's about knowing each child, recognising their strengths, and giving them the tools to overcome challenges. I believe that when children feel safe to take risks, proud of their progress, and inspired to explore, they can discover abilities and potential they never knew they had. That's why my sessions focus on building strong foundations, boosting confidence, and developing independent learning skills, while fostering a joy of learning that will carry children through life.
Every session is an opportunity for children to explore, grow, and be challenged in a way that feels exciting and achievable. Seeing the children embrace new concepts, solve problems with creativity, and leave with a sense of accomplishment is what makes learning so inspiring.
Tutoring Approach:
Our approach is built around three guiding pillars:
*Curiosity* - sparking wonder and a love of discovery.
*Confidence* - building self-belief and the courage to take responsible risks and tackle challenges.
*Joy* - celebrating progress and making learning fun.
With extensive experience teaching across the UK curriculum in both state and independent schools, I have led the maths department at a top London prep school and held various leadership roles that have shaped my approach to education. I am experienced in preparing children for 7+, 8+, and 11+ examinations, ensuring they not only master the required content but also develop the confidence and mindset to succeed.
Maths:
My maths programme blends Singapore Maths mastery with White Rose Maths resources, fully aligned with the UK National Curriculum. Children develop number fluency, reasoning skills, and a love of problem-solving.
Each 1-hour lesson follows the CPA approach (Concrete → Pictorial → Abstract), helping children understand concepts through hands-on manipulatives, visual representations, and written methods.
Times Tables: Dedicated practice with a clear progression from basic doubles to all tables 1-12, including fun games and short tests to track progress and celebrate achievements.
English:
My English programme helps children become confident, creative communicators.
Reading: We use the VIPERS framework to strengthen comprehension through Vocabulary, Inference, Prediction, Explanation, Retrieval, and Summarising.
Writing: We guide children through creative and descriptive writing, helping them plan, draft, and refine their work, with supportive tools such as word banks, sentence starters, and prompts to spark ideas and build confidence.
Handwriting & Spelling: Ten minutes of cursive practice plus spelling tailored to year groups (Years 1-2 phonics-based; Years 3-6 statutory lists).
Grammar: Engaging, nature-inspired activities from The Natural Curriculum, linking learning to wildlife and the environment.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a calm, supportive environment where learning is a joy. I combine strong subject knowledge with creative, engaging lessons that make even the most challenging topics feel approachable and enjoyable. My aim is always to build solid foundations in maths and English while nurturing essential lifelong skills such as problem-solving, resilience, and curiosity.
Over the years, I've seen children flourish when they feel believed in, inspired, and challenged in the right way.
Each child follows their own bespoke learning plan as part of a small group and works at a level and pace that is appropriate for them. The student to tutor ratio is a maximum of 5:1.
We're excited to offer free trials so you can experience how we can support your child.
