I have been a classroom teacher for 20 years, but have recently branched out to become a PE specialist, whilst I have still teach some maths and English I would like to teach more, whilst still keeping my current position. I am an outgoing friendly but strict teacher/tutor and pupils clearly enjoy being taught by me and respond accordingly with excellent results.

Teaching Experience:
I have been a primary school teacher for 20 years, constantly employed. I have taught all primary age classes and successfully prepared children for local entrance examinations. I am currently employed as Head of Junior Games at QEH Junior School in Bristol.

After studying Physics at the University of Bristol, I have spent the past 10 years working in the field of sustainable buildings. Alongside my professional career, I spent five years working as a private tutor between 2016 and 2021. My approach can be that the tutee would be able to send the points that they wished to be addressed before the session, so that each session could be tailored to meet their needs, with any questions remaining after the session being answered in a subsequent email. Homework would be an optional reinforcement.

Alternatively, my approach to my current tutee, who has a textbook to work from is that I use the textbook and the exercises within to plan lessons and set homework much like in a school setting, with end of unit tests for each chapter.
