I am 37 years of age and have a first degree in Education.My specialist subjects are Mathematics and Geography and I am able to offer tuition in groups or on individual basis up to A level . I have also worked with students of varied age groups and have an in depth knowledge of the student curriculum at all levels.

Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring Mathematics to primary, secondary and A level students for the past 4years both in schools, as a supply teacher and to private tutees. I hold a BA degree in History from Bangor University. I have worked within community organisations in Cambridge throughout my professional life, including the NHS, working almost exclusively with young adult clients on a one to one basis.

Teaching Experience:
Having originally trained with the TEFL Academy, I began working as a one to one English teacher in April 2015, initially on a part-time basis until December 2016. I have worked with over 50 adult students from around the world.

I studied Fine Art at Canterbury College of Art in the 1980's. As an artist I work figuratively. Through drawing in either pencil, charcoal, ink or pen I take my work forward into 3D materials and use photography as a major influence to inform my structures. I love to work with natural forms and use printing processes including lino cut, drypoint and stencil.
I have lived and worked in Lewes for the past 25 years. We have a family home on the outskirts of the town where I also teach Privately - both individually and group classes.

I taught French for 10 years in a school in Cardiff and left to concentrate on my educational website. The site, which is used by teachers in schools, provides interactive activities for language learners. After I gave up my job as a school teacher, I started tutoring in my free time as well because helping pupils was a side of my work that I really missed.
