Hi, my name is Ahmad and I`m an experienced A-level Biology tutor with over six years experience with over 4600 hours of biology tutoring experience. The best grades are achieved by those students who have done lots and lots of exam question practice. With me as a tutor, we will aim to cover questions from over 60 exam papers. This is to ensure the strongest possible performance in the real exams.

With me as a tutor, I will also facilitate the student to completely finish the Biology content five months before the exam. This approach is strongly recommended as it gives the student a total of five months to do intense exam practice. I am familiar with both the AQA and OCR exam boards and have taken part in a AQA Continuing Professional Development course for A-level Biology. In addition to tutoring, I have been teaching other subjects to students mainly between the ages of 12-18 at an established educational Institute in Bradford for seven years. I also have experience in studying at the University of Leeds on a Biomedical Science degree programme.

I found Ahmad very helpful for exam question practice, which is the main thing he focuses on rather than explaining content, unless you get a question wrong because you don't know the information. He keeps track of which questions you get wrong and then recaps them at the beginning of the next lesson until you get full marks on it, which I found really helpful. Hello, my name is Robert. Learning and teaching in some form has always been part of my life; my personal motto is "Never stop asking questions....". Tutoring Approach:
I believe the greatest benefit of 1:1 tutoring (or tutoring small groups), is that it is so much easier to tailor the learning to the student's needs, aiding understanding and building on that towards mastery of a subject. Progress is often swift because as has been so often stated, 1:1 tuition for an hour is probably the equivalent of several days in the classroom! My initial approach is to assess the student's needs in the first couple of sessions, using the information gleaned to build a program of study that is particular to that student. With regards to TEFL, having lived abroad for 12 years I appreciate just how difficult it can be as an adult to learn a foreign language, so I have great empathy with my adult learners and love helping them get to grips with our complex language.

Hi! My name is Monika, and I am a teacher of Polish as a foreign language, working with both adults and children.

I hold a Master's degree in Translation Studies from UCL, as well as relevant qualifications and extensive experience teaching Polish as a foreign language to students from diverse ethnic backgrounds and with different levels of proficiency.

I prepare children and young people for the GCSE and A-level Polish exams, as well as adults preparing for the Polish state B1 exam.

Additionally, I have experience working as an examiner for A-level Polish, including both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Teaching Experience:
I have extensive experience teaching both young people and adults. My teaching experience includes working at various institutions, including a Polish school in Leuven, Belgium, where I taught adults of Polish descent.

Teaching Experience:
I have three years experience of tutoring and marking. Prior to that I have 30 years of real-life experience in accounting and finance. This gives me the edge when making accounting, economics and business studies understandable to students.

My first degree in International History and Politics included Economics as a subsidiary. My professional accountancy qualifications are postgraduate level qualifications in accountancy. An additional bonus is that I hold a second degree level qualification in teaching English, which is an Ofqual regulated teaching qualification. My accountancy, business and economics students will receive coaching about how to ensure their answers are well-written and logical. This can lead to higher scores.

My students describe me as professional, approachable and driven. I coach adults over 18 online and resit students are welcome. I have great material including past papers. When we first meet we will discuss your learning needs so that I can develop a personalised learning plan for you. During each class, I initially explain the concept, then we work on a task together. As the next step the student tries an independent activity (often a past test question), then receives feedback from myself.
