My aim is to help aspiring music producers to take their projects through to completion and gain all the necessary knowledge and skills along the way. After tracks have been completed, i provide guidance in promotion and legal issues. I have solid links with the industry on all levels.

Having worked for SAE International as a course co-ordinator, my teaching material is tried and tested. I have had several success stories from past students and continue to get positive feedback.

I am providing the only valid alternative to full-time Music Production courses: One-on-one, tailor-made, project oriented courses that can be taken in your own time, either in the studio or from the comfort of your own home.

For complete beginners, i have a series of fast-track courses that will give you the basic skills and tools you need to start your journey into the music industry.

I also provide a production, mixing and mastering service whereby clients can participate in the process and gain invaluable knowledge.

Tutoring Approach:
I have a humanistic approach when it comes to teaching. Having taught large classes in the past, i much prefer the focus of a one-on-one class. I work at my student's pace, only moving on when he/she is ready.
My classes are hands-on and project oriented with the aim of producing a finished product, be it a full track or simple drum loop.

This permanent Monday -Friday position gave me my first experience in preparing students for GCSE, iGCSE and A-level examinations. Due to how international my school is, I teach native Chinese speakers and non-native speakers. This breadth of student-base has expanded my skills considerably. From teaching students their first lesson to analysing millennia-old Chinese literature with native-speakers, I have enjoyed this challenge. I have developed the Chinese syllabus while here, which now has curriculum classes in years 7, 8 & 9. Last year saw my first two non-native speaking students take their GCSEs; both my British and my Korean student got As, after I had taught them from beginner level, two years previously. I am also the GCSE examiner for the oral summer examinations.

Hi, I'm half Finnish and half Irish and currently studying management at The University of Stirling. I love teaching English as a foreign language and can also teach Italian for beginners. I am doing this to earn some money alongside my studies as well as gain more experience.

Last summer, I worked in a summer school where I was teaching English as a foreign language for six hours a day for six weeks to Italian, French, Spanish and Chinese students.

I have also done one-to-one tuition in Italy for three months.

Being the oldest sibling of my family and the first to attend university, I started teaching from a young age. I love working with students of all ages and abilities, and am intrigued by how I can use various learning styles: visual learning, auditory learning, read/write learning, and kinaesthetic learning to best impart knowledge. I am a retired maths teacher who has been successfully tutoring maths for the past 15 years. I graduated from Imperial College, London, with a first class honours degree and, for most of my full time working career, I was a computer software engineer. However, at the end of my career, I was a lecturer at the Royal School of Signalling, teaching mainly Data Networks but also Mathematics. I am married with 4 children and (to date) 7 grandchildren with whom we seem to have taken on a new career as child minders.

Teaching Experience:
When teaching maths at the Royal School Of Signalling, I was told I was doing a great job, particularly at building the confidence of students who had previously struggled while at school. During my time there, I gained a CFET teaching qualification and, based on my success, started offering private tuition. I found that I enjoyed the one to one lessons and tayloring the sessions for each individual student. I have now been successfully tutoring maths for 15 years. I have taught GCSE and A level maths for all the exam boards (Edexecl, AQA, OCR), plus for some entrance exams and scholarship exams. As well as in person tutoring, I have been sucesssfully teaching online via Zoom; I have a drawing pad and document camera to help.

Tutoring Approach:
I understand Maths to be a progressive series of concepts; the simpler, earlier concepts must be fully mastered before the more advanced ones can be readily understood. For example, I have come across students, even at A level, whose understanding of basic algebra is incomplete and this is holding them back from learning the more advanced topics. I therefore start by ensuring that these basic skills have been mastered before moving on. This continues throughout the student's progress, whether we are at Foundation GCSE or A level. I ensure each topic is properly understood before moving on and always make time to revise and consolidate. Basically the student sets the pace. Throughout, I try to make our sessions relaxed and enjoyable so that they build the student's confidence.
