I find Maths exciting and want to impart my knowledge on the subject to the learners in a way so as to make it interesting. I have worked in a customer facing environment for nearly 20 years and use my problem-solving and interpersonal skills to make Maths fun for the students. In my current role as an Employability Adviser in a Further Education college, I work with the 14-19 year-old students to improve upon their employability skills, including numeracy and literacy.

Teaching Experience:
I am into teaching over the past three years and over this period I am working directly with the 14-19 year-old students to make them employable by improving their skills, including in numeracy and literacy. I try to make the subject of study relevant and contextualise it with the real life situation.

Tutoring Approach:
An important feature of my teaching is the ability to change the style of teaching according to the needs and ability of the students.

After completing my teacher training,I taught English from key stage 3 to GCSE level (11 -16)in various secondary schools across West Yorkshire.
I have extensive experience of teaching to the new GCSE requirements of major exam boards such as WJEC and AQA. Along with this, I am familiar (and resourced) with most set texts used in schools. I am currently teaching English at a Secondary school.

I am a passionate musician, I started playing the drums at the age of 8 years and later played the Piano and the Bass guitar. I am currently into music production where I make music for recording artist playing the drums, piano and bass guitar. I like to mentor passionate upcoming musician and encourage them to be better in their craft. I play diverse kinds of music; Jazz, RnB, Soul/Neo-Soul, African traditional music, Contemporary gospel music. I adapt swiftly into genres of music as long as the music imparts the soul of the listeners.

Teaching Experience:
In my 15years of learning and performing music in church and secular music, I have also had a handful number of students who have become successful in the music and have taken this craft as their career. I have been so proud to have poured into them and watch them develop.

I like to make music fun and enjoyable. I enjoy convincing students to see music as a gift and how privileged they are to be passionate about it. Being passionate about playing music or becoming a musician itself is a gift which millions of people living in this planet earth do not have. I like to make students realise that there is a sound, a melody, a song in them which the world needs to hear. That there is a creativity in every musician to be original in their music and yet the world would adjust and hear them out. However, to reach this level of creativity, they need to PRACTICE. This can not be overemphasized. The more time each student invest in constant practice and learning, the more they get closer to finding their own sound and music. This is my approach which has been working over the years. I try as much as possible to make it enjoyable for each student and let them be passionate about it. Once they are passionate about it, they wouldn't need me to tell them to practice or force them to do assignments. They just stayed glued to their music till they become greater in their purpose of calling.

I live in Edinburgh with my husband, two sons and our dog. I have had a varied career path, starting as an English Language teacher working in Italy, London and Edinburgh for ten years. In my early thirties I decided to start working as a theatre director and moved to combine EFL teaching with theatre work. Since 2005 I have also worked as a university teacher and have developed a strong skill-set in study skills teaching.
I enjoy reading, hill walking and gardening and home cooking.

I am a highly experienced teacher and have worked in education for over twenty-five years. I have worked part-time as a university lecturer for fifteen years across undergraduate and post-graduate programmes and have particular skill in developing students' study skills and supporting reading and writing development. Tutoring Approach:
I encourage students to contribute their ideas as much as possible in my lessons. I prepare lessons thoroughly according to my student's needs and deliver relevant material to stimulate their interests and further their understanding of English in a real life context. I encourage students to speak out and be prepared to make mistakes, and I am willing to give instant or delayed correction as required to model the correct language. I believe there is always a place for teaching grammar points, however, my lessons are centred around real-life contexts and grammar teaching is embedded within that learning process. Hello, my name is Milo. I am undertaking a Masters in Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge, having just achieved a First Class Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences. I have a high proficiency in Physics and Maths and am an experienced teacher. I also offer tutoring in Chemistry, for which I was awarded the Salters Advanced Chemistry Award for my outstanding A level performance.

I have three years experience tutoring Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics for GCSE, A level, IB and University admissions. Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching conceptual misunderstandings is that any idea can be understood by anyone, as long as it is deconstructed into small enough steps and that the student is walked through each step at the correct pace. During lessons, I guide students through past paper questions, building their confidence as they apply their knowledge to real-life situations. For exams, I believe that active recall (recalling and using information from memory alone) and studying mark schemes are the best way to revise.

I am an undergraduate student studying Actuarial Science in one of the top Universities for Actuarial Science in Europe, Bayes Business School. I have tutored many GCSE and Alevel students in a tutoring centre and private classes, of which most of them got A to A*. I did A level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Tamil and received 2A* and 2A. I also completed AS Level Further maths in which I obtained an A.

I have taught many students, ranging from year 5 to A level, in a tutoring centre.. I am also currently teaching A level and GCSE students privately. I ensure that every student understands the subject or topic by the end of the lesson. I will make sure that my GCSE and A level students feel confident and comfortable when facing their actual exams, as I tend to do a lot of past paper questions for the students to grasp the technique. If necessary, I will give out discounted tuitions to go through the past paper questions near their exam. I will use the online whiteboard to describe the concepts clearly and I will go through it as many times as the student wants, to ensure that they have understood the concept.

I am passionate about creativity and am an artist and ceramicist, I also work freelance as a printmaker's assistant so I have a wide range of skills. I have worked for many years as an art educator, I am an A level moderator for an exam board which allows me to see work from around the country and enhances my professional development. I have also worked for a charity providing art programmes for those living with mental health challenges and this is an area I have really enjoyed.

I have been an Art and Design teacher for many years working with young people from primary and secondary school age along with lecturing at FE level.
