I like to understand my clients' needs, their particular strengths and areas for improvement. I teach the topic in the best possible way to match their learning needs. The key is for them to understand the topic by linking to something which they previously now. This creates a connection in their brain to help them remember and understand the concept long-term. It is vital for students to truly get excited about the subject so by using real life examples, they can remember concepts more easily. I tailer all of my resources based on what the tutee would like to gain from the session(s), and work in accordance with GCSE/A-Level specifications from various exam boards where necessary. I have always worked with a 'stretch and challenge' mentality, and will always aim to get tutees to achieve to their highest potential, but in a calm, nurturing approach.
