Information About Richard:

Personal Description:

I hold a BA degree in History from Bangor University. I have worked within community organisations in Cambridge throughout my professional life, including the NHS, working almost exclusively with young adult clients on a one to one basis.

Teaching Experience:

Having originally trained with the TEFL Academy, I began working as a one to one English teacher in April 2015, initially on a part-time basis until December 2016. I have worked with over 50 adult students from around the world.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to make my lessons as interactive and enjoyable as possible. There is no mandatory curriculum involved in my teaching, I focus entirely on your individual needs.

I have experience working with all ability levels so whether you are a beginner, an intermediate or just looking to refresh certain skills: I can help you.

All of my teaching materials are personally designed and arranging classes is easy and flexible to help busy working people.

I do not work in a fixed location, instead I meet across the many libraries and coffee shops based in the city centre. I only choose quiet and friendly locations with Wi-Fi availability because it is essential that lessons take place in relaxed and accessible locations without distraction.
