I was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, and moved to Yorkshire 20 year ago.

I speak 4 languages and being over here has given me the opportunity to teach my mother tongue, which I thoroughly enjoy!

Teaching Experience:
I have always taught languages - both in Spain and in England. I have had students from a wide spectrum - from 5-year-olds to the retired. This has given me a very good insight and experience into the needs of every particular student.

I am a qualified teacher and I've taught in colleges, secondary schools and on a one-to-one basis. Since the rise and development of online tuition after 2019, I have also taught online both for schools and privately, and I am well acquainted to teach in this environment using a variety of platforms (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom).

Tutoring Approach:
I prepare my own summarized notes and handouts which make students' life easy. At the same time I also use text books as well. As I am an accountancy tutor, I know the importance of practice. Therefore I do lots of practice questions and exam focused topics. I have study resources from where I choose material according to students' learning requirements. Main objective is to enable students to apply the theoretical concepts learnt from their academic studies to practical business environment. Normally I start from very basic easy examples and then gradually go towards complex exam questions, so that students get the confidence that they will pass the exams. I also provide online tuition, using shared documents and skype or phones. I send my own study material to students via e mail, communicate with them on skype or phone, they send me their questions or past papers, i solve them and send them scanned solutions, then explain on skype. I always teach my students in a very friendly environment. I tell my students take exams like a tournament and think they are the players, and I m their coach, together we have to make a strategy, a plan to win the game (exam :). I'm an easy going, empathetic, supportive and patient tutor who is dedicated to my students. I'm very thorough in my teaching and ensure no stone is left unturned in preparing my students for their maths exams/tests. I enjoy helping my students reach their full potential and achieve their goals. I encourage all my students to take a general interest in Mathematics as it helps them to do well. The aim of my tuition lessons is 2 fold. Firstly, it is to give my students a thorough understanding of the topics they are studying so that they are able to gain an excellent foundation. I have 30 years' teaching experience of mathematics, mainly up to GCSE level but have also taught on a 1:1 basis as a home tutor for several years. I have taught adults and children from the age of 5. My main experience is at secondary level in the UK but I have also worked for a number of years in the USA and Australia. I have also worked for a number of years in the primary sector before qualifying as a teacher.

Hello, I am 21, live in Hull and have been playing the drums for around 5 years. I am currently studying Music Performance at university and have just finished my first year in Bristol. I have lots of experience playing live with various artists and bands. I play many styles and appreciate all music as an art. I mainly play pop, rock and metal but am well grounded in jazz, latin, reggae, drum and bass, blues, hip hop and funk.

I have experience teaching; I started off doing it voluntarily to assist friends but the interest grew and I began getting more and more into it teaching from my home on my acoustic kit. I keep growing as a player and as a teacher.

My Name is Rachel and I have finished my final year at the University of Glasgow, where I studied a Bachelor of Music with Honours. I am a very positive, hardworking person. I am a singer and also have many years of experience working with the Kodaly method of music education. I have achieved ABRSM Grade 5 Theory, The National Youth Choir of Scotland's Go For Gold Certificate (which is accredited to Grade 5 Theory) and have also achieved Grade 8 in Voice and Grade 7 in Oboe through the ABRSM. I am a first study singer, and have several years teaching and assisting in teaching theory.

I have worked with the National Youth Choir of Scotland for 2 years and have been doing music workshops in schools with Primary 3 and 4. I also teach in one of NYCoS's Area Choirs teaching young people from the age of 8-18. Before I became an employee of NYCoS I had volunteered with them as an assistent music instructor.
