Although grammar is fundamental to any language, I prefer to teach students collocations (groups of words that commonly go together) than dry grammar rules. I leads to people speaking more instinctively and spending less time worrying about the correctness of what they are saying.

Building confidence in the learner and helping them realise that they can transfer natural communication skills from their first language to their second language is key to their success.

Fernando has been delivering Spanish Lessons to adults in the UK since 2003. He has extensive experience both in the corporate and public sectors. He even used to train Anthropology students in Trujillo-Perú. Prior to 2003 he was Spanish Interpreter and Translator for the Police in Devon and Cornwall.

I have been teaching English as a second language in Malaga Spain for 5+ years.

In Malaga, Spain there is a shortage of learning opportunities and availability of English tutors. My name is Nikki and I am an experienced primary teacher and Assistant Headteacher at an Outstanding school in London. I graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver in 2010 with a BSc in Natural Resources Conservation. I taught in Taiwan for a couple of years before moving to London to begin my teaching career.
