Hello there! My name is Tanyel and I am an undergraduate student at King's College London. I study BA French and Management and will be entering my second year in September.

I have a wide range of tutoring experience. This originated from when I was in Sixth Form and developed a knack for explaining things to my classmates and friends. Since then, my enjoyment in tutoring has led me to be involved in two tutoring projects. We would work through a main textbook (CGP range seems to work best) and I provide explanations in a clearer, more interactive manner to clarify understanding. 1. I always urge pupils to LEARN the rules (the maths rules). People think this is odd because the rules are often given at the front of the exam paper. I do this because I believe learning helps with knowing what tools are available and because I think it helps understanding.

Most recently I have been working as a senior manager in a software engineering company. I am approaching retirement age and returning to teaching.
