I am currently a lecturer on the BSc Psychology and Language science degree at University College London and a psychology examiner for AQA. I graduated in 2003 with a degree in Psychology from Durham University (First Class Honours) and have since completed a Masters degree in Cognitive Neuropsychology at The University of London, Birkbeck College and a PhD in Psychology at The University of London, Goldsmiths College.

I have coordinated modules in developmental psychology and lectured undergraduate and postgraduate students. I have also taught A level psychology for over 10-years and sociology for 2-years. I have been a professional performer for over 14 years with experience in all different types of acting. From voice to physical theatre! I've done it all!

When I was very young I starred in multiple theatre roles, developing various skills and delving into the works of many drama and theatre practitioners such as Stanislavski, Brecht, Artaud, Chekhov, Berkoff and many, many more!

After many years in theatre I decided to branch out into other forms of acting, I moved to voice acting in which I developed a personal method to help keep and maintain a healthy voice as well as using pre-established methods to create and enhance my repertoire of characterized voices

I started giving private lessons to a few friends and associates back in college, helping them get higher grades as well as preparing them for a future in the acting industry. I am currently Head of Science at a large co-educational boarding school near Coventry. My subject specialism is Biology and I have taught A level, GCSE, Pre-U and IB Biology (HL and SL) full time for over thirty years in four leading independent schools. in the UK I have been Head of Biology departments in two of these schools, designing curricula and evaluating student outcomes.

Throughout my career in schools I have enjoyed tutoring a small number of students each year, normally just one or two per academic year and in recent years, I have worked with several GCSE, A level and IB students usually for the two years leading up to their final exams. If a tutee is in the first year of a two year course, I focus on building their foundational knowledge and understanding. If we are in the year of their final exams, the focus will shift onto more specific exam preparation using past papers and learning from feedback.
