Personal Description:
I've just graduated from the University of Plymouth with a 2:1 degree - BA Education, specializing in ICT.
Teaching Experience:
I have classroom experience teaching children ages 5-18, and working with adults, as well as extensive experience as an instructor within the Army Cadet Force.
I have taught across the curriculum, and have a good understanding of the National Curriculum and Primary National Strategy. I also have experience working with children with special educational needs, gifted and talented, pupils with behaviour difficulties and children with english as an additional languge.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to work with the pupil, parents and their school (if necessary) to find an approach which best fits the pupil, and supports the work they are doing at school. Generally, I aim to make activities as hands on and interactive as possible.
