Information About Vivek:
Personal Description:
I am a diligent and didactic individual who has worked in industry for 6 years before I decided to become a teacher. I used to be a senior consultant for a French consultancy firm, travelling to different sites designing, implementing and testing topologies, servers and MS roll outs. I then managed a services team at John Lewis Corporate Systems where I obtained an Adult Training certificate in education. I am now a full time teacher working for a comprehensive school in west London. I enjoy sports, especially football and self defence.
Teaching Experience:
I received my teaching Diploma from Kingston University (West London Partnership) and now work for Cranford Community College in West London. I teach ICT at KS3, 4 & 5 as well as Literacy in the department. I also teach KS4 and 5 Media Studies. I am an adult trainer in web design and a keen photographer.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a patient individual with the aptitude to work well in any situation. I get results through my approaches due to the fact that I treat my students as adults and allow them to think about their answers without rushing into decisions. I am able to communicate clearly and to the point with real life examples and age specific examples, allowing students to fully grasp what is being taught.
