Information About Gregory:
Personal Description:
Greg is a very experienced and enthusiastic tutor who has read Engineering at Cardiff University (B.Eng(Hons)). In addition, I am a qualified TAP IT Trainer and has had experience in teaching in secondary schools, further education colleges as well as in the corporate and public sector environments. Also, I have a strong musical background and play the church organ and piano and studied at the Junior Royal Academy of Music before going to university. My current role is a Lecturer in a Further Education college in Surrey.
Teaching Experience:
In my current role, I teach GCSE Science as well as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In my previous full-time role, I was training corporate and public sector staff in all aspects of MS Office - up to 2010 and clinical software for inputting patients' records. I also have over 18 years experience in tutoring in Mathematics, ICT and Physics up to 'A' level as well as Physics, Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Music and ICT at GCSE, IGCSE levels (all boards) and Key Stage 2 level. Also, I have pursued a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics where I have gain classroom experience and I was a Data Analyst in a large public sector company.
Tutoring Approach:
I am an enthusiastic, lively, non-conventional, methodical tutor who gets the best out of the students. The students understanding and appreciation of the subjects will be very much enhanced once they are tutored by myself, and this is usually reflected in their test and exam results.
