Personal Description:

I have held various roles in secondary education. I have a great deal of experience in intervention programmes in ICT and Maths. I have worked with children with a variety of Special Needs, and with children learning English as an additonal language.

Teaching Experience:

I finished studying my degree in education in 2005. Between June 2005 and October 2007 I was training to be a secondary ICT teacher in Hillingdon working in a number of different schools teaching children of all ages and abilities from Year 7 to A levels.



Tutoring Approach:

I want to tutor as I believe every child has the right to achieve their full potential. I am aware that for some children that extra boost from a tutor is essential which is where I come in. I intend to start by finding out what level your child is working at and then provide them with skills and knowledge to help them achieve further. I aim to find out what your child's interests are and include them in my teaching which will make learning fun and also boost confidence which will then show in their class work. I have a number of exciting resources to aid teaching including work on the computer - which all children love!
