Personal Description:
I am 30 years old and have a Masters Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Maths) and Masters of Education (M.Ed.). At the moment I am tutoring students from KS3 to A-Level in Mathematics. I can teach up to Degree level as well. I have high expectations of pupils and achieve results by creating an encouraging and friendly environment.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for almost 8 years. The pupils I am teaching at the moment find me patient and dedicated to identify the weakness and act accordingly by totally involving the students in the process of learning. I do have the expertise in helping out the students who are coming back to studies after a long break and students can be prepared for the examination in 1 to 3 months time frame.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that all students can become good mathematicians and that one of the most important aspects of teaching is diagnostic feedback, that is identifying and rectifying pupils' misconceptions. Simply grading work is not productive - students should get guidance as to how they may improve their performance
