Personal Description:

I am a qualified IT professional with a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Computers from a well known university in India. Maths/Physics/Computers were always my major subjects and I have a good hold in them.

I have been an excellent achiever academically and a very good performer in various extra curricular activities like dance, dramatics, poetry recitation, singing etc.



Teaching Experience:

I have extensive experience of teaching kids who are 10 years plus to the University students the following subjects:

Maths, Physics, Computers (any programming language/databases/unix etc).

I have taken various batches for students who were not able to pass their exams and after my coaching, all of them were able to pass and some of them even exceed everybody's expectations.

I have taught in one-to-one sessions, I have tought in groups of upto 8 students and I have also tought to an entire class. I use to take tutions for school and college students (one-to-one and group classes). I use to work as a Senior Faculty in 3 of India's popular institultes SSI (for computers), NIIT( for computers) and an Indian University (for Physics/Maths and computer Science).

I also hold a graduation degree in Dramatics from National School of Drama, India. I have been actively teaching in Dramatics and Singing at various extracurricular clubs in India.



Tutoring Approach:

I follow a very simple approach. Unless the student understand what the topic is trying to explain, no matter how hard the student will try, s/he will not be able to make any sense out of it and hence will never be able to remember it which obviously means low marks/grades during examinations.

I make every effort to make sure that the student understands the concept and then give them useful tips which helps them to learn the subject. Since, they have already understood the concept, its very easy to then learn it and retain it for the exams.

There are always life-like examples for almost any topic and I try to relate problems with more generic experiences in the real life, which makes learning fun and less-challenging.
