Information About Vivi:
Personal Description:
I have experience teaching various subject. I was born and lived in France with Greek parents, I have the ability and the experience teaching French and Greek. I have been living in the Uk for the last 7 years, where I did a degree in Art where I graduated 4 years ago. Since then I have been enjoying teaching, and creating.
I was lucky to learn two languages from an early age. I believe this made me realize the beauty of a language and how it reflects its culture. This is a reason why I enjoy so much teaching that knowledge of a language
Teaching Experience:
I have experience teaching French to children and adults.
I have taught French to children from 3 years old to 14 years old in nurseries and privately.
As for the adults, I have been teaching private tuitions from a very academic approach to a more creative one.
I also have experience as filmmaker facilitator and Tutor to children and adults, working as a freelance in schools and privately.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe the actual experience of teaching any subject is a very important part to the learning progress.
Whether I teach Art, Film or French, I always create this positive environment, and I always
make sure the student stays active in the lesson which I believe is important. Also I intend to give
exercises for the next lesson as it allows the student to stay focus, again I do this for any subject I teach.
It keeps the student excited and willing to always learn more.
About the French lessons, for any student, before starting a lesson, I create a friendly relation with
them, which I believe is very important for successfull learning, specially as some
people find speaking another language intimidating.
I always plan a lesson depending on the individuals hobbies and interests in order to make the
lesson more pleasant, original and appealing to them.
Finally, I ask them why they want to learn French, whether they intend to go
to a French speaking country, if it is for business purposes or exams or just a love for that language?
I have a lot of experience working with children so when I teach them I always make the lesson creative and fun.
