Information About Louise:
Personal Description:
I am approachable enthusiastic and creative, I recently graduated from Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen, in fine art painting. I have a passion for all the fine arts and design. Currently I work in the public sector, within the community. My time spent at art school consisted of gaining as much knowledge of all departments within the school as well as my specialist subject painting. Within my own work at Gray's included film, printmaking, sculpture, painting and drawing. My own work at the moment mainly involves painting, drawing and printmaking.
Teaching Experience:
I have one full years experience of working in a primary school, predominantly within the early years including nursery, here I co-ordinated all arts activities and lessons. I have one full years experience of working with teenagers from 12-16 as a youth worker and art co-ordinator. I have several years experience of art tutoring young adults with learning difficulties, this was classroom based, as a group and one to one. I have done small amounts of voluntary work, working with adults as class tutor. I also hold an enhanced disclosure.
Tutoring Approach:
I have deep care and compassion for all people of all ages. I find that I can relate easily to young children as well as mature adults. My current working environment requires me to listen to precisely what my clients needs are, and acting on them, in doing so friendships are built. Student/teacher friendships are a vital part of the success. A positive environment is the roots to success in any form of learning.
