Personal Description:

I have been a legal academic at a UK University for ten years. I have published one book and numerous journal articles in peer-reviewed journals. I hold an LLB, LLM, and PhD in law. I have passed the Bar Course and I am an unregistered (non-practising) barrister. I have particular interests / knowledge in crime, criminal evidence, public law, tort, and family law. I am available for online tutoring, via Teams, Skype etc.

I specialise in teaching on the Bar Course (all modules) and can offer revision notes, advocacy prep, and exam prep.

I can also offer tutoring in philosophy and critical thinking, general literacy, and study skills.



Teaching Experience:

I have been a University teacher for ten years, teaching many thousands of students in that time. I have supervised many LLB final year dissertations as well as LLM dissertations and a small number of PhDs.



Tutoring Approach:

I am friendly, approachable, experienced, and knowledgeable. I offer online tutoring in the following areas, up to and including post-graduate level (such as LLM or Bar Course):

Tutoring can include help with revision techniques, exam prep, clarifying more difficult concepts, weekly reviews of your work and understanding, general advise on assignments, proof reading, and work on CVs, covering letters, and application forms etc.
