Personal Description:
Hi, I am Matt and I have been teaching for twelve years across a range of schools in Britain, Europe and Central Asia.I have a background in Mathematics and have been a Maths Coordinator across three schools. I am currently based in Kazakhstan and am looking forward to working with young minds across the globe.
Teaching Experience:
I have twelve years teaching experience and am a specialist in Mathematics, where I believe all children are able to make progress and gain an understanding with the correct support. I have coached Maths Olmypiad teams and am also the creator of an international Maths Competition, which premiered this year with 60 students from five countries travelling to attend a two day Olympiad style competition.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe each child has the ability to progress and a tutor's role is to support this. This means using an empathetic approach to find a student's strengths and challenges, before creating a program tailored to their needs.
