Personal Description:

am an ex Henrietta Barnett School student with a first-class degree in Finance and currently work in the finance industry. I value structured thinking, curiosity, and continuous learning, and I enjoy supporting students as they build confidence and clarity in their learning. I bring a calm, encouraging presence and aim to create a positive, focused environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging fully.



Teaching Experience:

I have over six years of experience tutoring 11+ students, and two years teaching Economics at both GCSE and A-level. I studied Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and English Literature for A-level, and draw on this background to ensure students build a strong conceptual foundation. My approach focuses on mastering core concepts first, then reinforcing understanding through discussion and targeted practice questions until students achieve confidence and proficiency. I tailor lessons to each student's needs, using a variety of resources and my own academic experience to make learning engaging and effective.



Tutoring Approach:

My teaching approach centres on building a solid understanding of core concepts before progressing to more complex material. I encourage active learning through discussion, questioning, and practical exercises, ensuring that students can apply knowledge independently. Lessons are tailored to each student's strengths and areas for improvement, using targeted practice and real-world examples to make concepts engaging and relevant. I aim to foster curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
