Kamalapriya - Middlesbrough tutor
Information About Kamalapriya:
Personal Description:
I am a PhD researcher in Digital Health with a strong background in science, engineering, and education. I hold multiple postgraduate degrees, including two Master's degrees in Signal Processing and Instrumentation & Control Engineering, and I have a Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I am passionate about helping students of all ages develop confidence, curiosity, and a strong understanding of science and maths. I enjoy creating learning experiences that are engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's needs.
Teaching Experience:
I have extensive teaching experience across a range of levels. I previously worked as a university lecturer in Electronics and Communication Engineering, delivering modules on Digital Signal Processing and Biomedical Engineering. I have also supervised MSc students through their dissertations in the UK providing guidance on research methods, data analysis, and academic writing. In addition, I tutor children and teenagers in maths, physics, and chemistry, from primary school up to secondary level ( not in the UK) helping them build foundational skills, understand concepts, and prepare for exams.
Tutoring Approach:
My tutoring approach is student-centred, supportive, and adaptable. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and use practical examples to make learning engaging and relevant. I aim to build both understanding and confidence, tailoring lessons to each student's learning style and pace. I encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking, while also supporting exam preparation, homework, and study strategies. Whether working with young learners or university students, my goal is always to make learning enjoyable, clear, and effective.
