Personal Description:
I am a graduate (BA History and Politics) tutor with 4+ years of experience tutoring KS3-5 students in English Language, English Literature, Geography, Politics and History.
Teaching Experience:
I have over three years of experience tutoring. I began in 2021, privately tutoring over five students for a year on GCSE and KS3 English Literature and Geography. They all achieved 8-9 at GCSE level. I also became self-employed and privately tutored a range of students 1:1 across multiple online platforms, adding to my extensive experience of being a tutor. At the start of July 2025, I had completed over 1,200 hours of tutoring, with around 1,000 of this being paid employment.
Tutoring Approach:
I am kind, motivating and understanding; my lessons are student-led and highly personalised. I tailor my lessons to each student, and ensure that all tutoring is designed to be results-led. I have had a lot of compliments about my guidance for exam preparation and exam technique, and overall pride myself on being a fun, engaging, and understanding tutor. My expertise in essay writing is highly valued by my students.
