Personal Description:
I am a creative and approachable tutor who helps children learn content via different learning strategies and teaching styles. I thrive on helping children unlock their potential and differentiate very effectively in order for them to succeed. I am an optimistic and bubbly individual and I believe this helps in building great rapport with the pupils.
Teaching Experience:
I work very closely with the team at the centre, which is known for their outstanding educational service in education. I teach and manage the centre and help other teachers understand the values of making and delivering strong outstanding lessons as well as teach my own.
Tutoring Approach:
I currently teach a number of students on a 121 and group basis. Here my lessons are differentiated and enable all children to recognise their learning journey. I assess pupils at the beginning of the lessons and get them to understand their learning outcomes by the end. Lessons are heavily built on exam style practice by always taking the content of the lessons and apply them directly to the exam questions. This enables children to get a stronger concept of the topic and consolidates. In some instances I even get them to create the exam questions so they understand what classifies as a question in that topic.
