Personal Description:
Hello! I'm Shan, an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a passion for teaching KS3,GCSE & IGCSE and A Level Computing. Teaching Computing, I have honed my skills in delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities to give you the best tutor sessions.
Teaching Experience:
I am currently qualified with teaching status in computing and hold a a bachelor of science in IT management for business. I have worked as a secondary school computing teacher in Luton, teaching KS3 & GCSE computing. I now teach at a leading British international school in Sri Lanka with many of my students achieving grade 7 to 9.
Tutoring Approach:
In my tutoring sessions, I employ a multifaceted approach that includes exam practice, personalised learning plans, and hands-on practical elements to reinforce understanding and build strong subject knowledge in computing. Each lesson is structured to last for one hour, optimizing student engagement and focus. I am tailoring lessons to learners of all levels and ages, ensuring they receive targeted support to excel in their studies.
