Personal Description:
I'm a happy, positive and down-to-earth, qualified teacher who thoroughly enjoys helping people achieve their goals.
I have taught English Language at GCSE level and Business from KS3 to degree level for over a decade now.
I currently work in a private prep school teaching English and Drama, where we deliver Common Entrance exams.
Teaching Experience:
I have worked in Further and Higher Education colleges since I began teaching, in various roles, from Learning Support, to Course Director of Business, to Head of English and Maths.
I have extensive experience with children with SEN (special educational needs), such as Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, PTSD, complex and severe learning difficulties, mental health issues, Dyslexia and medical issues (e.g. leukaemia, severe allergies).
Privately, I tutor all ages from primary to adult learners.
I teach English from KS2 to KS4 - GCSE and Common Entrance exams, Business GCSE, various CIPS (procurement and supply) modules, CMI (leadership and management) modules up to Level 5, and Education and Training courses up to Level 5.
Since the beginning of my teaching career, I have had a solid 100% pass rate with all my private tutees.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching approach is very student centred; it's very much varied and adaptable, as I strongly believe everyone learns in their own unique way and my job, as a tutor, is to work it out and deliver the sessions in the best possible way in order to cater and meet YOUR individual needs.
