Personal Description:
I'm a second-year student at the University of Manchester studying for an undergraduate master's in physics.
I have a strong passion for physics and maths so I love sharing what I've learnt and helping others who want to learn it too.
Teaching Experience:
I have some classroom experience from volunteering in primary schools in which I talked to classes about science and aided on field trips.
I believe I am suitable for the role of tutor due to my grades and achievements in physics and maths, I have recently completed the A-level courses so the content is fresh in my mind and I have a small amount of experience from tutoring my younger siblings.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe a student's ability to remember the information they need is linked to how fun and interesting they find the context in which they are applying the knowledge.
Students need to actively engage with what they are learning as opposed to feeling like they are being forced to memorise something for no reason.
I like to get to know a student's attitude towards the given subject they need tutoring in before personalizing my lessons to ensure they enjoy their experience
