Personal Description:
I am an experienced Geography Teacher, Husband and Father, who has a real passion for the subject. The world is a dynamic place that is ever changing. My aim is to inspire students to have that same passion for the subject and become confident and successful Geographers.
Teaching Experience:
I am an experienced and successful Teacher of Geography and History, with over 20 years experience of teaching Geography up to and including A level. I have also taught History at GCSE and key stage 3. I have a thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum and many different GCSE and A level exam board specifications. I have been an examiner for many years, which means I understand what is needed to achieve success in exams.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a nurturing but structured approach to tutoring. I seek to understand the needs of the individual, so that i can identify any gaps in their knowledge and understanding. I then use a very methodical but engaging approach to plug those gaps, using my wealth of experience. I have a thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum and many different GCSE and A level exam board specifications, which i can draw on to get the best out of the student.
