Information About Sharley:


Personal Description:

I am a positive person who has an enthusiastic outlook on life, I love to tutor and I get a great sense of achievement from seeing my students develop and grow as individuals. If I can have any sort of positive impact on their future, I feel as if I am doing my job best. I am an effective communicator and believe I have a strong ability to plan and organise student- tailored lessons which allows me to remain competent. I am open to any sort of criticism as I believe in working together as a team.



Teaching Experience:

For about a year I have worked 1:1 with year 6 students who are working on their SAT's preparation for both Maths and English with an external organisation known as Maths Makers.
I have also spent around 6 months delivering group sessions for B-Techs - Applied science.
Furthermore, I have also gained a year of experience tutoring A - Level Biology and Chemistry students helping them achieve their full potential.



Tutoring Approach:

I understand that different students have different methods of learning things, some may be visual learners, some may be auditory learners and others may be reflective learners and so on. Therefore I believe in diversifying my teaching techniques to meet student specific demands and be able to deliver handcrafted tutoring sessions.
