Personal Description:

I have about 8 years of research experience in engineering and physics areas (combining industry and academic experience). I have taught and mentored a number of students from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. I understand the nuances of the learning process. My teaching style involves helping the student to develop a strong conceptual foundation of the subject and the confidence to solve problems in the dedicated subject.

My main area of research is applied physics, with expertise in electromagnetics and electronics engineering. My day to day work includes designing experiments, analysing data, designing devices and keeping up to date with the theory and new scientific findings in my area.

I also have supervision experience for research students and have mentored school and university students who are in need of career support and guidance. In addition to teaching theory, I can support and guide the students on school/university science projects,
