Tyler - Newry tutor

Information About Tyler:

Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Tyler and I am currently a student at Queen's in my second year of studying applied mathematics & physics. I have a keen interest and aptitude for Mathematics and Science and I hope I'll be able to encourage this passion in others too!
Whilst being proficient in this I am also quite capable in the field of music, having taken many formal performance and theory lessons in piano at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and being self-taught in both guitar and bass.

Teaching Experience:

While studying for my A-levels I was engaged in a program in which I would tutor struggling GCSE mathematics students every week and help them get back on track.

I have experience tutoring my younger cousin over the summer for her GCSE maths and science classes.

I have also taught piano lessons to multiple beginner music students.

Tutoring Approach:

Different students have different needs and learning styles, and so I aim to tailor my tuition approach to match the needs of each student as much as possible and am quite flexible in my approach to tutoring.

Mainly, I will try and make the subject as interesting as possible as I believe that the best way to learn is to first and foremost enjoy learning.

I also have many tried and true study techniques of my own which will help greatly in examination scenarios so you will be able to apply all that you have learned as effectively as possible.
