Personal Description:
Hello, I have a degree in Geography and Geology from the University of Exeter and I am also a qualified teacher with a Primary PGCE (Geography specialism). I am the director of my own company, and I run residential study courses for GCSE and A Level Geography and Geology students in the UK, Andorra and Spain.
I live in Dorset and love teaching.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for over 30 years. I have worked in a variety of outdoor and environmental study centres in the UK and most recently spent 23 years running a busy residential field studies centre in Dorset. I now run my own company and I also do online tuition to students across the globe.
Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy my subjects and enjoy sharing my knowledge about the world with my students. I like to teach the content alongside exam techniques and so a lot of my lessons are based around past exam papers. I will contact the tutees school whenever possible before we start any course of tuition and get an update on things such as exact case studies being taught, topics covered so far etc.
I also help students with their fieldwork projects and NEA coursework at A Level.
