Information About Jonathan:


Personal Description:

I am an information technology executive, researcher, writer, lawyer and teacher. I have a BSc(Hons) in Multimedia Studies, PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and Training, MSc in E-Learning, MScEcon in Information Systems, MBA in Business Administration and LLM in European Union Law.



Teaching Experience:

I have been a teacher since 2005, when I volunteered for the Pant and Dowlais Boys and Girls Club. In 2006 I gained a C&G in Delivering Learning from the University of South Wales and in 2017 I gained a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and Training from Cardiff University. I also have a MSc in E-Learning, gained in 2004 from the University of South Wales. I have taught workshops across the historic borough of Taf Ely as well as taught via eTwinning, such as between communities in Wales and communities in England and Australia. I do a lot of online tutoring, especially reaching learners needing study skills training.



Tutoring Approach:

I take a skills-based approach to teaching so that learners are able to develop independently. Many of the learners I teach are keen to develop study skills, such as essay-writing and other research skills.
