Personal Description:

I am a highly experienced and successful tutor and I am familiar with all the specifications for A level and GCSE Maths. I have a relaxed and friendly manner and I enjoy meeting students and getting to know them. If you are looking to achieve a top grade in your exam, I will help you with the harder details of the subject and I am equally happy to support you if you are struggling and need to improve your confidence and understanding.



Teaching Experience:

I have had a long career as a maths teacher in schools and colleges, including many years as Head of Maths. I have also enjoyed periods as a private tutor.



Tutoring Approach:

I love my subject and like helping students to enjoy it too. I am good at explaining difficult ideas in a straightforward way and I am patient and encouraging. I won't make you feel stupid if you don't understand something but will find a different way to explain it.
