Personal Description:
I am currently a Masters student at Liverpool Hope University. I am earning a MA in Education. I am 25 years of age from the United States. I come from a short teaching background, but have loads of experience with children from working in leadership positions in summer camps, student teaching, then my actual teaching. I am very easy going, hard working, and love to have a laugh, and really get on well with children. My strong point in tutoring outside of regular class subjects is definitely art. I am great with watercolor, acrylics, and anything crafty.
Teaching Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education & Minor in Art
2 years Special Education Paraprofessional - worked with children with disabilities specifically in Science, English, and Math. Ages 12-14.
1 year student teaching - Year 1.

It depends on how the student learns best. I have worked with many different types of students, and have learned my different approaches to helping students through my experience. But I believe most importantly there needs to be patience and the learning should be fun!
