LoginAnn - Blairgowrie tutor
Information About Ann:
Personal Description:
Recently retired from a fulfilling teaching career in London I have moved to Scotland to enjoy a more relaxed way of life and to indulge my love of the outdoors and the practical aspects of my academic first love, biology. I am always well prepared and willing to give of my best.
Teaching Experience:
40 years teaching experience of Biology and Chemistry to A level, combined/Applied science and geography to GCSE level. I have been head of a careers department and deputy head of an independent girls secondary school from 2004 to 2016.
Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy encouraging students to take control of their studies: I frequently find that confidence is boosted when a sympathetic yet structured approach is put in place. I believe that confidence is the key to success and once that is in place, through careful explanation and question practice, achievement levels will be raised.
