Information About Ching:
Personal Description:
I worked in the Science industry initially but after working at a grammar school I have found a new passion in tutoring as I feel it draws more on my abilities and I enjoy giving students support by helping them to do their best at school.
English is my first language as I was born and raised in Northern Ireland but I am also fluent in Cantonese and I am good at Mandarin. This is a bonus for students and their parents who may be better at speaking Chinese than English.
I have weekly time slots reserved for immediately after school (4pm every weekday, earlier times available for those who finish early on Thursdays and Fridays), all day Saturdays and weekday evenings from 7pm until 11pm
I tutor at the student's home which will require a travel fee which depends on the location. Upon agreement of arrangements, a contract will need to be signed and for students under 18, a child protection and safeguarding will be provided which needs to be read and signed.
Teaching Experience:
My initial experience in tutoring was through completing two Tutoring in Schools programmes - offering voluntary tuition to pupils most in need.
In addition I have four years of experience as a private tutor with students obtaining fantastic results. I am experienced in tutoring Maths, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE and AS/A2 Level
It is wonderful to see students become more and more confident and enthusiastic in areas that they previously struggled with.

He is very punctual and easy to talk to my daughter feels very comfortable with him .He has certainly made the Aqe process a lot less stressful. I would use ching again

Tutoring Approach:
I am patient and considerate and I recognise that each individual learns differently. I am experienced in helping students understand difficult topics - less experienced tutors such as University students can have high grades and enthusiasm in their specialist subjects yet fail to improve student understanding.
I ensure that my students will be able to answer exam questions well and with confidence. To achieve this, I make sure that I explain things clearly so that they thoroughly understand difficult topics.
