Tutoring Approach:

I am an experienced artist and art tutor with my own professional practice. I believe everyone is inherently creative in different ways and art is one of them. I love enabling students to build confidence in painting, drawing and sculpture. I am very happy to help complete beginners through to practising artists of all stages. I keep up to date with current A level curricula from various exam boards in the UK. I am also familiar with UCAS applications for University and those for Colleges, creating portfolios and submission processes. I have helped students at universities improve their practical skills in sculpture and drawing. My teaching approach is learner centred, and focused on enabling students to find the positive results they are looking for. I aim for students to feel relaxed and enjoy learning to make art. My lessons are planned with the central focus that the student requires e.g. making an artwork with a particular theme for A level course work, or a particular medium such as collage, Watercolour or oil painting techniques.
