Personal Description:

I am a working Engineering professional with a masters degree in Engineering from one of the worlds reputed educational institute.I work for Jaguar Landrover in Coventry. Teaching Maths is my passion. I enjoyed Maths and achieved A* at all the levels of my academic career.At A levels I achieved A* in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching Maths since my A levels (1994). I have taught Maths to many of my juniors, batchmates including many other students who approached me for tuition help.
I have taught primary, Secondary, GCSE, A levels, Entrance exams and Olympiad students which primary focus in maths. They all succeeded in their exams with excellent results.
I teach Secondary, GCSE and A levels Maths (C1, C2, C3,C4 and M1). I am available for teaching during evenings and weekends.

Tutoring Approach:

Before teaching any topic, I first assess the student's current level of understanding and knowledge in that topic. Based on the student's confidence/understanding levels, I adopt various methods until they independently solve the problems. I make them feel maths is not about memorising and is purely grasping the concept that can help to solve any problem. I don't teach maths just with theory; being an engineer I try to explain the maths applications in real life scenarios. I believe if students realise practical application, then they find it even more exciting to learn.

I make sure that the student understands the concepts thoroughly which also, in general comes with good practice. With the willingness of the student and his/her parents, I give practice problems that are fun to deal with and help to gain good confidence in the subject. I strongly believe in the reviewing process of their work. I spend good time to review their work which will highlight the strengths & developmental needs of the student. This helps to plan better my further sessions and equally student will not have any difficulty in following subsequent sessions as he/she is already thorough enough with the concepts
