Personal Description:
Hello,
My name is Dominic and I am a very experienced maths teacher and tutor with an excellent success record.
I have a B.Sc.(Hons) in Mathematics and Physics, a M.Sc. in Mathematical Modelling and a P.G.C.E. in Mathematics Education.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught for over 25 years in schools and before that I taught in for 3 years at University.
I have had a great deal of success with secondary age students and enjoy my job.
I have had outstanding success with tutees over the last few years and I am now intending to increase the number of tuition sessions as I reduce my teaching load.
Tutoring Approach:
Building confidence is key, as many tutees have had negative experiences of Maths in school.
This can be turned around with patience, encouragement and an approach which focuses on what they have got right to build esteem and confidence.
My hourly rate stated is a minimum. It may vary slightly if depending on travelling time/distance. I try to be economical.
