Personal Description:

Professional, passionate about my subjects, and committed to enabling each and every young person I work with to achieve their full potential. I took a couple of years out of teaching to start and grow a family business. This business grew rapidly and I led it through the incorporation process before resigning as director and returning to teaching. I have found that this experience has only served to enhance my teaching as I bring relevant, and first hand experience from industry to my teaching practice to add context to theory.



Teaching Experience:

Successful teaching career in various schools across Bournemouth, Poole, Dorset and the New Forest. Strong track record of raising standards of teaching, learning and attainment.
Prior roles have included Head of Business Faculty, Head of Learning Area Enterprise & Technology, Head of Subject - Business, Economics, Law. I successfully led a New Forest Secondary School to become a specialist college of Business & Enterprise and became Director of Specialism. I was also a seconded consultant to Hampshire LEA overseeing implementation of the Business, Admin & Finance Diploma in schools and sixth form colleges across Hampshire. At the same time I was also seconded to the New Forest Learning Consortium as the Line Lead for the Business, Admin & Finance Diploma. I am also an experienced Business Studies examiner.
