Personal Description:

I am a PhD graduate in Engineering. I have a wealth of experience in teaching KS3 and KS4 Mathematics curriculum. I also have over 8 years experience in teaching Mathematics and Science courses. I have volunteered to work with students across all grades in the UK. My PhD research involved the application of various areas of Mathematics to solve structural safety and reliability problems.

Teaching Experience:

I have a wealth of experience in teaching KS3 and KS4 Mathematics curriculum. I also have over 8 years experience teaching Mathematics and Science; ranging from KS2 to University curriculum.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is to first identify the preferred learning style of my tutees. I have adopted quick work problems to assess the areas that tutees require support. The assessment will inform strategies to be adopted to achieve the objectives of the tutorial.
More importantly, I believe in interacting with tutees to identify subject contents they would require more focus in the tutorial. If the aim of my tutee is to prepare for a specific examination, I prepare a work pack that will include possible subject areas the examination question will cover. This approach boosts the confidence of my tutees and has recorded a huge success.
