Personal Description:
I am a Civil Engineer, living and working in the Warrington area. I volunteer extensively with my professional institution, and deliver STEM activities for children of all ages to engage them with Engineering.
Teaching Experience:
I have successfully tutored a number of students over the past five years around Manchester, improving their confidence, exam results and general exam techniques.
Tutoring Approach:
I encourage students to lead their own tutoring - to reflect what topics they are struggling with; to develop techniques to improve on those topics; and following this up with progressively more complex examples to cement their understandings of the fundamentals, allowing them to complete the more challenging exercises.
I treat students as young adults, and deliver their tuition respectfully, clearly, and a preparedness to adapt to meet your children's needs.
