Information About Nicola Rose:
Personal Description:
Having recently graduated from UCL with a science degree, I would like to pass on both my knowledge and enthusiasm for science especially to children needing extra help. I have gained an A grade in Biology, English and Business Studies A Level and a C in Maths A Level.
I am an expecting mum tutoring is an ideal job for me as it is very flexible!
Long term I plan to gain my qualified teacher status once the baby is a bit older but until then this will keep my mind ticking!
Teaching Experience:
I have experience assisting teaching biology, maths and physics in a secondary school as well as leading lessons on my own. I also have experience in one on one tutoring.
Tutoring Approach:
Every student is different and the great thing about private tuition is that we can tailor the lessons to your needs. You may be struggling with a whole subject or just parts of it, or need help on how to revise efficiently. Having completed my A levels and bachelors degree recently I have a lot of knowledge of and passion for the subjects listed and would like to pass them on to someone who will benefit.
I take a fairly relaxed but organised approach during the time i spend with pupils; I want them to see it differently from school time and to enjoy their learning.
