Jenny - Carshalton tutor
Information About Jenny:
Personal Description:
I am outgoing and vibrant individual. I enjoy teaching because I find giving children the tools to succeed truely rewarding. I want every child I work with to believe in themselves and pursue their potential. I set myself high expectations to be the best possible teacher I can, because of this I have completed numerous experiences in special needs and a variation of primary schools. I have completed my Bed Primary Education degree with a First Honours and continue to develop and improve my practice.
Teaching Experience:
I have had three placements, 2 in Year Five and one in Year Four. In all of my placements I have achieved 'Outstanding'. I have had experience with behavioural difficulties, EAL, SEN and gifted and talented. I am able to differentiate learning so that all pupils are challenged and are progressing. I am currently doing supply work so I can further challenge myself in a range of classrooms. I have had experience tutoring from when I was at secondary school. I have continued this since University. I have successfully created individual learning plans to progress and develop each pupil. I apply effective assessment to ensure I am aware of what steps need to be taken. Since I have left university I have signed up with 5 teaching agencies and completed supply Teaching all over London in every year group. I have also secured a position in 'Best Start Federation' in Hackney. This is based on failing schools which are turned to Outstanding with consistent policies and passionate teachers.
Tutoring Approach:
I am friendly, bubbly and outgoing. I always create positive relationship with my pupils which I think is fundamental to ensuring the best approach is applied. By this I mean learning styles, integrating their interests in sessions and above all boosting their self esteem and confidence within the subject. I am very determined and organised which means I am motivated to enusre progression in your child. I apply the best possible strategies which thorough research and practice had proved successful.
