Personal Description:

I am a second year student at Teesside University studying ICT..

I would like to pass on the skills that I have learned all through school to those who need it and help them understand whatever they are struggling with in both ICT and Maths.



Teaching Experience:

Through school, sixth form and at university, I have helped many students to understand certain areas they are struggling with. At my secondary school, King's School Tynemouth, I have helped juniors with their work in ICT and other subjects which teachers found an assisstant helper would do for...

Now I want to take this further and help primary school pupils with their ICT and Maths so they can get a better understanding of the topic they are studying in a way which will be easy for them and fun...



Tutoring Approach:

I am available mainly on weekends mornings and afternoon till around 4 pm.

I will tutor the pupil in smooth way making the work seem easier for them and to make the lesson less intense for them, some fun could take place but still focusing on what is being tought.

The approach I will use for the teaching of the pupil will involve pen and paper (a calculator when needed) and using a computer connected to the internet in order to show examples and make learning fun for them.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE's in Maths, English, science, design and technology, ICT, Geography, Business Studies, Arabic. All these subjects I achieved a C grade and above (ICT- A , Maths- B)
  • A-levels in Chemistry, biology, ICT and arabic at AS ( achieved C grades and above)
  • Currently studying a degree in BSc ICT at Teesside University
